OUR TEAM

RUF at Mississippi State is supported by six full-time staff member and one part-time administrative support staff member. Their faithful ministry is what makes all of this incredible work possible! If you are interested in learning more about RUF staff or financially supporting their ministry, head to the national RUF website

In addition to the adult staff members, RUF is also built on student leadership. Small group leaders, worship team members, and Servant Team members are students who volunteer to support RUF in a variety of ways. If you're interested in joining RUF leadership, talk to Joe Johnson.

April Johnson

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, April is an Auburn University graduate who now works full time for RUF at Mississippi State with her husband Joe. She would love to get coffee at 929 with you!

Lily Gerrell

Intern

You don't have to talk to Lily for long to learn that she is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia. She is passionate about Crocs, Gilmore Girls, and cheering for the Dawgs. This is her second year as an RUF intern.

Josh Anderson

Hailing all the way from the University of California, Berkley, Josh is now famous on Mississippi State's campus for making pancakes on the drill field every Monday morning. This is his second year as an RUF intern.

Claire Hatfield

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Claire graduated with a degree in Music Education from Middle Tennessee State University before becoming an RUF intern. She and her husband Jacob are so excited to be here!

Jacob Hatfield

Jacob, Claire's other half, is also an MTSU graduate and a first year intern at Missisippi State. You can find him lifting at the Sanderson Center or playing Spikeball on the Drill Field. Come hang out!
